Under body chassis paint

Post by ian65 » Fri Apr 01, 2016 10:21 am

Just a quick heads up that this weekend Wickes have got a great 2 for 1 deal on Ronseal fence guard which is excellent for painting the underbody on your Rx7..... it's water based so enviro friendly and safe to appy, it's long lasting out of sunlight and comes in a great selection of colours.... Red cedar is particularly good at hiding rust from the mot tester.
Fence guard is the old classic car restorers favourite that's still good to use today. th:

that's a shame Dave..... I was thinking Dark Oak would have contrasted nicely against the silver paint and red stripe on Gus ;)

I was always a Cuprinol Man myself, it seems to favour the milder climate in the S West, though not so Enviro Green

I've tried this on my Aston some years ago but had a problem when the wind blew as it did last week in the south east and resulted in an infestation of tin worm .......
