Edit: found photos of mine. They look like the Familia ones, no E-mark

Re: Bulb list
FWIW, I'm yet to 100% confirm, but I think the RX7 headlamps with replaceable H4 bulbs are virtually identical to MX-5 Mk1 items, Mazda part no. NA1051031A mx5 headlamp new.jpg These are widely available brand new. Also made by Koito. The main difference appears to be that these are E-marked (being ...

Re: Rear hatch struts - regas as good as new
Ian, I remember when I first got my series 3 20 years ago, the hatch went up entirely by itself as well. The Strongarm ones lift up a few inches by themselves, then I have to give them a little nudge and they raise the glass the rest of the way. I'm not 100% sure it's aligned properly and I may be a...

Re: Bulb list
US is definitely sealed. That is why it Haynes refers to it.
Just checked my Mazda factory manual for export RHD and it shows bulbs replacement for "except German spec" and sealed replacement for "German spec". This is the 1981 (s2) supplement.

Re: Bulb list
Aussie delivered series 3 but possibly earlier came with Koito H4 with replaceable bulbs, not sealed.

Re: "Success to the Brave!"
the blue only came with the grey interior in the UK... different markets worldwide had a wide mix of colours and trims... Mazda actually call the grey interior trim 'black' although it's nowhere near black. On my silver car I swapped the wine red trim for the grey as I much prefer the grey look to ...

Re: Blue S3 Breaking - Lancashire, UK
I've love some of those interior bits but too big to ship to Australia I'd imagine. If you are willing to ship much smaller bits overseas (small parcels to Australia are quite cheap), I'd be interested in: - the oval screw plugs that go into the screw hole recesses in the rear trim - the square and ...

Re: 1985 Series 3 restomod with s5 13BT on LPG, R&P steering
I finished restoring my front side indicators. As noted in one of my posts above, you will see these are very different to the circular FC style ones fitted to EC spec series 3s. Australian spec s3 are the same as JDM s2/3 and fit inside the side moulding forward of the wheel arch. US models also ha...
