Re: 1985 Series 3 restomod with s5 13BT on LPG, R&P steering

I've been keeping my AusRotary build log updated but I've been lazy here. As I ramp up to dummy fitting everything in my engine bay, I've picked up lots of new go fast bits: Davies Craig EWP150 and controller, Spal Extreme 3000cfm 16" fan, Green Brothers Racing preturbo mechanical water injection ki...

Re: Project London Bridge

Re: Project London Bridge

There were 2 different kinds of power steering in the FC. Most FCs used vehicle speed sensing power steering Some series 5 (but not series 4) models used engine speed/RPM based power steering - generally these were in N/A models in the US and Infini turbo models in Japan. It was an inferior (but sim...

Re: Grey check interior

Of course the bag of stuff was so big because it has all the old carpet in, which isn't worth saving, these bits are though and I could post them out, just need a clean but they are in good condition. These look good and I'd be interested in them. Do you have any checked trim pieces from the seats?

Re: Grey check interior

which bits are you after? Basically any/all of the checked trim fabric sections. I have a few spots that are worn or stained here and there which I don't think will come out with cleaning. Specifically, a spot on the rear lower seat, a spot on the front of the seat cushion of the passenger side and...

Re: Center console storage - lid issues

They are extremely flimsy. Many people have adapted universal hinges which are commonly available at hardware stores. Or, you could buy this repro item if Phils Rotary ships to UK. Otherwise I might be able to help you out myself. See https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co...

Re: Bulb list

FWIW, I'm yet to 100% confirm, but I think the RX7 headlamps with replaceable H4 bulbs are virtually identical to MX-5 Mk1 items, Mazda part no. NA1051031A mx5 headlamp new.jpg These are widely available brand new. Also made by Koito. The main difference appears to be that these are E-marked (being ...
