Re: KIMI 3 - 1984 Series 3

Did some more plating of spare carb pieces and other bits - reasonably happy with results. Yellow passivation better than my previous attempts!

One of the pieces before:

Re: KIMI 3 - 1984 Series 3

I've been attending to some arch corrosion - happy I've cut out the problem and treated the area, but not 100% happy with my 1st attempt at the shaping and finish. It'll do for now, but will have a 2nd attempt to get a better result.

Re: Show cancellations - at a glance - COVID-19

The organisers at Beaulieu have confirmed that "Simply Japanese" will go ahead, but no club stands or gazebos will be permitted. Yakushi has not been cancelled, as far as I am aware at the time of writing this. However, due to the organisers and government restrictions, the RX-8 OC have decided not ...

Re: Yakushi Show 2020, British Motor Museum @Gaydon - Sun 26th July

Sadly, due to the current covid-19 restrictions, the RX-8 OC have decided, quite rightly IMHO, not to have a stand at this event. As far as I'm aware, the show will go on, undoubtedly with some restrictions, especially wrt museum visits. There is nothing to stop an individual attending, just no club...

Re: Beaulieu: Simply Japanese, Sunday 26 July 2020

Simply Japanese is going ahead, but the rules imposed by the organisers at Beaulieu are so onerous that the RX-8 OC have decided, quite sensibly IMHO, not to attend this year. No club stands are permitted and there is no guarantee that cars can be parked together. If anyone has already paid, their m...
