Re: Rx7fb rough idle

Fuel filter over the back axle.
Pig of a job on your back with raw fuel pooling in your armpit...

The car then needs a good drive to get everything really up to temperature and burn off any deposits.
Time to worry is when it's still smoking after a 20/30 mile run.

Re: Hello from Wisconsin

Hi Bog, Welcome.
When I had a broken aerial some years ago I got a full Mazda one for ease and authenticity.
It was hell of a price as I recall.

On the Forum we use your Rock Auto and other US part suppliers a lot. Have you tried them?

Re: 84GSLSE 13BREW Swap build

Yep, Butyl Hypalon welding cable, 70mm2 sounds right.
You need loads of amps and lowest possible volt drop when starting.

I've designed many a mains switchboard and generator starting panel using this stuff.
Crimped or soldered lugs would terminate the cable nicely.

Re: Mud Flaps

I measure 210mm front (less 10mm where longitudinal chassis seam projects below wing if you need that).

Rear is 260mm....towing eye is not less than this clearance

Hope that helps.

OK, many thanks for that.

Another 1st Gen in South Yorks, it's been a bit lonely here, being the only one.
