The time is finally here, a buyer for the 13BT setup has been sorted and deposit taken and the next incarnation of the S1 will now start to evolve. Another option you could consider is doing the front subframe swap from an FC so that sorts out your front suspension and braking requirements in one hit. The whole brake debate really depends on how you drive - I give my car a kicking eveytime I'm in it and the stock brakes just aren't up to it but...

As James said, fitting a REW lump is a bit trickier in comparison to a S4 or 5 swap but obviously thats not to say its impossible as it has been done. Yeah I agree - not a lot of forethought went into the preservation of Cosmo's back then - a lot came from Malaysia I believe but he merely bought what was on offer, unsure how they came to be cut up in the first place.
