Re: A big THANK YOU to you all!

This is such sad news and I would like to send my condolences to his family. Although I never meet Dave I would like to think of him as a good friend and had spoken to on the phone. Dave will always be with us through Gus in the safe hands of Ian. So RIP Codge a dear friend. Dibs (Dave Ball)

Re: newbie sa rx7

I regret selling my series 1 that I bought new, but it paid the deposit for the house I now live in, that was in 1983. The problem is find another one, so if it works for you hang on to it.

Re: newbie sa rx7

I would imagine as this was one of the early cars it could have come with a few add-ons that laters cars didn't have. Mazda may have sent these as the first batch for their showrooms,
I've seen some showroom Montrose/626 models that were different to those that were sold later on.

Re: The Latest 1st gen sightings

I owned a pea green Montrose coupe later to become a 626 in 79 before my first RX7, I actually loved the colour as if was different to all the others in those days,
Must say I would love a pea green series 1 now.

It looks like the base car was a stock UK market white series 2 before someone vandalised it by fitting that bodykit and doing a partial retrim with Noddy Holders trousers

Ian the A pillar is pea green, I didn't think they sold that colour in a series 2 in the UK.
