Re: Wires' 12a Turbo

That’s the worry. I know some US cars are running 16x8 +20 but reckon its pretty marginal. Skim that manifold and butter up the gasket with copper based rtv. Should be mint. Sealed up the one on the elford this way. The rtv burns off leaving just the glass fibres that help fill any imperfections. Go...

Loving the wheels. Are these the pair of 16s that were on eBay?

Re: Clicking on start.

Assuming this is on the starter itself? Or is it a relay that sends the current to the starter?

Got a spare starter somewhere, may put it in the boot!

Clicking on start.

So the car is making a noise when starting at the moment. It’s a clicking / relay type noise. It engages the starter and cranks ok.

Anyone seen this before? Maybe the starter relay on the way out but would think this would cause non starts?

Re: Bulb list

That’s perfect.

I will check if I have sealed beam or not this eve. Here is hoping! I think they are halogen from memory and they are quite bright.

Re: Tyres for series 3 RX7

You'd be better off going 195/60/14 anyway. The stock wheel is only 5.5in wide so the 195 has less lateral roll.
That is what I understand. The car is on 195/60/14 at the moment and handles well. Its a balance between the additional 10mm of tread and the sidewall flex.

Re: Tyres for series 3 RX7

Can you get Proxies and Bridgestone in 205/60r14 in Germany? They only come in 195/60r14 here.

Kumho do come in 205/60r14 but I believe they are Koren

Re: Tyres for series 3 RX7

Digging up an old thread as it tyre time. Stock S3 rim. The selection of 205/60r14 is still small. Current picks seem to be Khumo Escta and Nankang NS2. I read somewhere that the car actually handles better on 195/60r14 with better steering feel? There is a wider selection including some Continentia...
