Greg's point is very relevant.

It does depend on what use the car is being put.

Drag racing puts huge strain on components for a very short period.

My point was based on street, circuit and rally use.

It obviously didn't reach reserve in Coy's auction. It would only be worth that amount if it had provenance, which it does not. Some things are just not genuine Gp B parts and some things are missing. It doesn't feel quite right, having said that I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the cash ! Let...

I've heard that some companies use crushed walnut shells where they don't want to damage items, also some form of soda is sometimes used which is softer. We managed to repair my bumper, so hopefully that should suffice. Thanks for getting back to me though.
