Re: Rexanne!
Yeah I've seen a few other people have issues with the FD coils as well. FC coils are said to be the best rotary coil anyway (slightly better than FD, and hugely better than the Rx8 coils.), so no need to use anything else in my case. I've got a few things to figure out in the settings still as the ...

Re: Rexanne!
Yeah sorry, HVLP means high volume low pressure - the gravity feed type like you thought. If you plan to do any more painting it's worth the investment in my opinion at least. Much less overspray/waste and easier to clean as well. Either way though you got nice results, so you can't complain about t...

Re: Rexanne!
Very nice work on the bodywork! I finally took the time to read through your whole thread, very nice job on the car I really like it! I'm about ready to start installing my megasquirt as well, hopefully I don't have too many issues... I'm a little surprised to see you using a Siphon feed spray gun t...

Thanks! The wheels do match the car nicely, and they are nice and light (and cheap too lol)

Thanks I'm really happy with it!
Captainbizarro - yep it's me, I've been meaning to have the admin change my name to "pandafb" on rx7club for a while, but they recently made me a mod and advised waiting a few months so everyone realizes who it is...

Re: New member from the US, not new to FB's :)
I realized it's been quite a while since I posted here. I'll have to start a build log on here, but for now I'll give a quick update. I've repainted my T2 FB (the black one in the pics above) back to its original Sunrise Red. After 5 years of the black I'd grown tired of it and really missed the red...

Re: Brake pad shims and spring wires
Rockauto sells the slider clips and the anti rattle springs (they list it has "disk brake hardware kit"), since you have the same wheels as our GSL-SE I assume you also have the same brakes (are the rear rotors vented on your S3's?), so just make sure you select a 84/85 with a 13b. Mazdatr...

Re: Water ingress....help!!!
Sorry for the delayed reply, kept forgetting to check this thread! I agree with the others, it would probably be best to get the parts from a US FB, rather than the mx5/Miata. Your best bet would be to get on Rx7club and post an ad, most guys over here ditch the A/C and I'm sure you could pick up mo...

Re: New member from the US, not new to FB's :)
Thanks agian for the welcome guys, apologies for not getting more pics up here, I'll do that as soon as I have a free moment :) I agree, the steering is a big improvement over stock, only issue I have right now is a bit of bumpsteer, but that is common to lowered FC's, so there are kits out there th...
