There is still a bit of wiggle room with tilting the engine over and also the rear of my exhaust was hanging. That should help the gap be slightly larger! Still messing around with it all and will have a more definitive answer once it's clamped together :D

Thanks for the help aye Ian! I'll put a few washers between as you mentioned and see how much spacing is needed. Some sort of heat shield is planned between turbo and steering box. But it's not on the priority list right this second :P . I'll see if I can tilt the engine with the slots currently on ...

Got things bolted in! Keith sent me one of those transmission mount adapters for series 3 mounting bracket on a series 5 box. Bolted it on. But for some reason the shifter housing VERY slightly rests against the body of the car as seen in the picture below. Unsure why? I guess I'll have to space the...
