I was originally planning to repair the chassis legs, but, I found out that the chassis legs are made of a "high strength steel". I believe when welding high strength steels there is a risk of the steel becoming brittle and fracturing, which is why I'm looking to see if I can get some dono...

Front cut

Hi All,

I am looking for a front cut of a RHD FB (1985).
It's mainly both chassis legs I am interested in.

Hi gt_james, You may be right, but my fear is that the tensile strength of the steel I have may be on the lower end of the range. I know it would be miles better than the way it is at the moment, but for a structural part like this I'd rather over engineer it than under engineer it! Agreed, it's loo...
