Re: The First One is Home
Well she runs 0-0 Drained the old fuel out (about a litre and a half as it happens!) and put some fresh in with some two stroke oil mixed in just in case. Worked out the 1980's home made immobiliser (a hidden toggle switch), choke out turned her over on the key and was just about to release the key ...

Series Three Door Release
Hi All
As the locks were all gummed up when I picked my Series Three up, I managed to break the inside door release handle on the drivers door.
Does anyone have one that they would sell? Red would be my preference, but anything to get the door open would be fine

Re: The First One is Home
Came up nice! What's the underbody like, is she solid? The pictures flatter the car a bit, but it was quite a car transfornation to get three years of dirt off it. Could do with a good polish! Looks very solid underneath. The rear arches and rear valence are just starting to rust along the edges,bu...

The First One is Home
If anyone has read my introduction, I bought two 1985 RX7 series three's. I got the first one home which is the better (well lower mileage one) of the two. Re: Hi All
Plan A is to get them both home, although space is at a premium. Next is to get the lower mileage one running and as it has a dent in the front wing, to get that sorted.Hobbawobba wrote:Welcome Mitch. Have you got any initial plans for the cars at all?

Re: Hi All
Hi Pete, thanks for the welcome.
I'm based in the Midlands. I've never had a rotary engined car, but I do have a Suzuki RE5. I've been looking for an RX7 for ages, then dropped on these two when buying some wheels for my Ginetta G40 race car.
More info to follow!

Hi All
I found this place looking for info on FB RX7's, having just bought two series 3's almost by chance (long story for another time).
More to follow when I get them home.
Mitch
