Re: Idler arm needed asap
Let us know how you get on. Will do mate, it would've flew through the MOT today if I'd even checked the idler arm for play! It's amazing how you overlook certain things! Oh well not be long now. The 20min drive to the mot place and 20 min drive back was great apart from a vague steering which I in...

Hi all I'm in desperate need for either a good used idler arm, new idler arm or just the bushes, I bought a brand new moog one from rock auto but overlooked the fact that it's for a LHD! And now the car has failed its MOT on the idler arm today, any help would be much appreciated, many thanks

Re: Fast road RX-7 restoration
What are the wheels? They look similar to SSR RACING JILBA. What size and offset, and tyre size also? TBH I'm not sure I'd say there a copy of them wheels, all I know is there 15 x 7j et25 and on 185/60/15 hankook tyres, I bought them off eBay as I just loved the look of them! They are one piece wh...

Re: Fast road RX-7 restoration

Cheers mate, your right it is cleaner than the body! I'd rather have the underside and mechanicals fresh and in good order than spend money making ...

Re: Fast road RX-7 restoration
Really liking your work. I just checked out the website for that Monopoel tank. The stock fuel tank is 55 liters so with your nicely fitted wheel well tank at 41 liters, you'll get nice and friendly with your local gas station sya Cheers mate, I know it's gonna be a bit of a pain at 12mpg or whatev...

Re: Fast road RX-7 restoration
Evening peeps, more pics to follow but here's one after I'd finished routing the battery cable under the car and finishing off the homemade exhaust system complete with side exit, it's a bit loud but sounds great and gets rather hot quick! I'm keeping up momentum on this now as I can't wait to drive...
