The first few shipments of series 1’s to the UK were that green colour (apparently the Brits hated it and they didn’t sell well)... it wasn’t available after the S1’s. That bit of green on this car looks like it’s been sprayed or painted on more recently... the metallic pea green was a bit lighter I...

It looks like the base car was a stock UK market white series 2 before someone vandalised it by fitting that bodykit and doing a partial retrim with Noddy Holders trousers

Took Gus to DFTR Automotive this morning, the go to place for retro and classics in the Midlands, to get a compression test done on my rotary engine. It's the original engine, 57,000 miles, never thrashed and has had oil changes every 3000 miles from new so I was curious to see how this reflected in...

incredibly even in these days of basket case 1st gens fetching good money this car isn't even worth the £800 asking price.... where's the value in it?

Noooo! this car is limited to 4000 rpm, no burn outs allowed. Dave would come and fetch it back if he saw me doing that.
